Fishing Charters

Captain Jim Simmons specializes in Sarasota, Tampa Bay & near shore fishing with light tackle.  Our Captain is U.S. Coast Guard Licensed and fully insured. Fish with the best gear on the market with a Captain who is sure to provide you with memories that will last a lifetime!  On our fishing charters you will target snook, snapper, redfish, trout, mackerel, grouper and other fish species in the area.  Fishing charters will take place on our spacious 26 ft Andros Boat.  Fishing trips can accommodate up to 6 people per trip.

Captain Jim will provide rods, reels, live/artificial bait, which is all caught or prepared in advance, giving you the most time on the water for an enjoyable fishing experience.

We provide a cooler with ice. You should bring drinks, snacks and sunscreen. However, if the need arises, there are bait and sandwich shops on the water that we always have access to. We recommend wearing a hat, sunglasses, loose and light colored clothing for summer. Warm clothing or windbreaker is appropriate for the fall and winter.  We do advise wearing tennis shoes, sneakers, or other shoes with good grip. A stop at many of the local sandbars can be arranged, if your party would like to enjoy some time in the water at the end of the trip.
A fishing charter is a great wake to make lasting memories as well as enjoy the fishery and wildlife in Sarasota and Tampa Bay.  Our fishing charter options are listed below.
